First XI - Finals!

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

Am thankful to Louis for giving me the opportunity to watch a soccer match filmed live for the first time! HAHA! And what I meant is being there at Jalan Besar, with the stadium completely filled with roar with the cheers of First XI's fans. It's completely different from watching it on TV.

Anyway, Louis was one of the top 11 in First XI. And last night was their finals with their rival team, S League All-Stars.

Dear drove all the way from Bukit Batok to my house just to pick me up to Jalan Besar! Hehe :)

Waiting for him to text finish

Was pretty excited!
There were a lot of people there queuing up, and met his friends, Jason and his friend and we quickly settled down for a good seat.

We had to wait about 1 hour before the show officially start? AND GUESS WHAT! We were just like a few seats away from where the camera was pointing at - Jean Danker and Gurmit Singh. Haha luckily didn't film us because I was abit overwhelmed by the match and it'd be embarassing if they caught it on TV hahaha.

First half of the show they had local celebrities to entertain us..
Taufik (mus's younger bro HAHA) made a guest appearance by performing his new songs I guess?

Jean Danker and Gurmit Singh

And OH, as you all should have known by now, there was a wardrobe malfunction when the blue-haired cheerleaders with their SKIMPY tube dresses performed on the field.

I swear I'd expect something to happen because when they first appeared, their dresses were like revealing half of their boobs wtf. Like wear until so skimpy for what? There were also children in the stadium please!

So yeah, NIPSLIP. Felt a little sorry for the girl since she had to face so many guys staring at her. She was the only one who dropped her wig, and her dress? Guess it wasn't her day. Lol. But still, wear until like that for what?!
And instead, she took the limelight by appearing on the first page of New Paper.. Lol

Anyway, back to the show!

Me and dearrrrr

Dear, jason and Desmond!

Taufik performing another song again... I hope I wasn't the only one who thinks that his performance wasn't that good

AND FINALLY, THE STARS OF THE MATCH/SHOW!!!

Cheering for Louis (The 3rd one)

 Warming up..

Mediacorp/news reporters take photos first before the match commences

Friendly handshakes

First XI team

Hmm I think Kim Bao didn't look that good in photos/tv but suprisingly he looked quite good in real life! Hahaha

Team discussion

In the end, First XI lost to S League All Stars, 0 - 1 respectively. Nevertheless, the spotlight was of course, still on them! I felt really proud of them though. They're not professionals, but they only lost by one score. The S League All Stars had quite a number of Africans...

Anyway, Louis won the best player of the season!!!!!!!!!

He totally deserved it!!! :)
Congrats Louis!

After the match was over, went to eat dinner and headed for a short fishing trip with Dear and friends at Marine Pier before heading home..
Had a really great day :)

Daiwa Fishing Competition at Pasir Ris Town Park!

Saturday, April 07, 2012

Woke up at 6am in the morning to meet dear for his Daiwa fishing competition!
Bought myself a cup of soya milk to fill my stomach. I was anticipating to meet dear so badly because I haven't seen him in 5 days!!!!!!

When I reached, everyone was already queuing up :(
So many people were there!! There were 400+ participants and the winner will get to win $5000 CASH and an Daiwa equipment worth $1,800!

Everyone were prepped up!
Met his friends, Fadly and his gf, Meiling, Mick and his wife, Angel, Siang and his gf Ribena. Hmm there were simply too many lines! Some even got tangled.

Didn't eat breakfast so Dear gave me his McSausage burger sponsored Macdonalds for this competition. Yummy!

There was even a free shirt, cap, and car sticker.

Whee, the first 5 minutes got a fish already ^_^

The first fish caught~!

Dear and Fadly

The guy beside him seem to have something too~

Yay, dear catching the 2nd fish!

A little tangled here..

Dear's fish ^^

Look at the number of participants crowding together..

Hmm, they were announcing the lucky draw winners and the first round they called out our number!!!!! We won a fishing equipment from Daiwa :)

Super lucky!

By the late afternoon, the sun was getting a little hot so we had to take shelter..

Dear was also super tired since he didn't sleep a wink last night. I think he was anxious about this competition?

Angel and ML chatting behind the trees heh

Dear accompany meeeeee

Love you!

Swear this picture he looks like a monkey~

Anyway it rained really heavily, but by the time it rained, we were in the car napping, sleeping like a pig already~ Hahaha!

The game ended about 4.30pm and we were all excited to get dinner since we didn't eat lunch :(

Dear's fish :)

Everyone was crowding around the guy who won the first, with his fish weighing at 17.45kg! He won $5000, a trophy, and a fishing equipment worth $1800 wtf!!

HUGE FISH

Super heavy...

Anyway, ate dinner at Whitesands and they wanted to go Bedok Jetty for some fishing again -_-

Pitched a tent at the jetty, while the guys fished and me and Angel chatted and snacked inside ^^

After a while, dear was super tired and he came inside and fell asleep inside the tent, Haha! PIG!

Full moon :)

Bokeh lights. Taken from inside the tent.

Oh well, in the end everyone packed up and went home. We were all too tired, but we definitely had fun catching up! :)

Do Singaporeans dress badly?

Friday, June 05, 2009

(Nuffnang Blogging Contest)

Excuse me, how is it possible that Singaporeans dress badly?
Take a look around when taking public transports during weekdays!

Teenagers are dressing even better than some adults lor!!

Compared to the past, when teenagers wear knee-length skirts and their sports shoes with long sling bags that hang around their butt?

Oh pleaseeeeeeeeee.

SINGAPORE IS ROCKING WITH STYE ALREADY!

(Some irrelevant stuffs, but I just have to add it!)
When you're preparing for a girls' night out, you can miss out anything (shaving your armpits or whatever) but just don't miss out your PRECIOUS ACCESSORIES.
Accessories do wonders. Don't belittle them ok!

These small little things can make a great impact in your dressing style, SO it's a must have!!!

My current obsession is my F21 butterfly necklace~~

Don't be so boring la, start wearing more accessories!!

________

Even though there may be glam and glitz around in Singapore, there are still some unsightly styles in Singapore I really loathe. Well, it's either they're too retarded or freakishly weird.

Some trends that didn't last long, and didn't look good either.

Clown skinny jeans

After that, some idiot came up with skinny jeans in....... two different colours.
It's like the left leg is red and the other right leg is white -_- Okay, maybe even some ridiculous colours.

I swear that's the worst worst worst worst worst worst worst fashion style ever in history.
Such a big disgrace, yucks.

Those jeans were made for clowns. Period.

Long Gladiator Sandals
Hey, met the Spartans yet? They look so freaking weird.

I wish there are things like fashion police so they'll catch people who wear such ridiculous gladiators!

Really, I have a great grudge against these unsightly spartan looking like sandals that are out to ruin the world of glamour and fashion.

Enough of such horrible fashion taste. They're good enough to make me vomit.

__

Now, there're still some styles that I really love so muchhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Oh my god :)
Stunning styles that leave me so.... breathless.

Heels + Boots, what do you get?
-ANKLE BOOTS!!

I swear I love that person who created ankle boots, because it's just so...... gorgeous. I'm saving up. Saving up for a pair of ankle boots.. (Stupid, isn't the Great Singapore Sales coming?)
They are the new sex, baby.

-Waist belt
They are totally your life savers during days when you look really... fat.

-Just a simple black dress
Black dresses never die out. They only look more stunning, as time goes by.

Well, it's up to every individual - We all have our own opinion about fashion..
But I really hate those long gladiators. Singapore should just ban them.

Hmm, I remember last year when I was in Malaysia, my relatives were about to sleep when my cousin suggested to go eat supper. So......... I went out in my pyjamas!

I guess it was a decision I regretted making, 'coz everyone started to stare at me as if I was a freak! In Singapore, I would wear my shorts and some old comfy T-shirts to sleep since the weather was kinda warm.

In Malaysia, my aunt would set the air con temperature at 16 celsius that I have no choice but to wear those old fashioned pyjamas. (Long sleeve and long pants; those ah pek types la)

But guess what! No matter how ugly your pyjamas looks, you can glam it up with accessories!!!!

Whoever said that you can't look good in your pyjamas huh?
You can camwhore whatever you want k!

LET ME SHOW YOUUUUUUUUUUU.
I can't help taking photo with the hello kitty that Jiale gave me as
my bday present 2 years back!

Well, it proves that you don't have to wear pretty clothes just to get nice photos taken :)

Well, let's proceed to trying it out with your bestie........

Okay, I have no idea what we're doing so just leave it the way it is :)

Woops :x
