Am thankful enough

Wednesday, August 01, 2012

I'm really grateful that I have my boyfriend by my side, knowing that no matter what happens, he'll be there for me. I may not be perfect at times, but he still accept me for who I am :)

He's seen my spectacles side, my fugly side, hahahha.

So happyz to have him in my life.
Despite me being a little sensitive and petty sometimes, behaving like a spoiled princess, but he still gives way to me and it makes me feel abit bad. :(

Me & Baby

When he stays over this is the kinda view I'll get, hehe ;)

Anyway just gonna blog about some stuffs that happened a while ago, about a few weeks ago?
I know it's late but I still remember everything vividly. Hehe.

Just so you know, on that Friday when I lost my laptop, he came down specially all the way from his workplace after work just to make me feel better, or according to him, "give me a hug," and we went for supper :)

Went to Xuan Le Dim Sum at changi village, which my family and I have been patronising for more than 6 years, hahaha. Love their fried prawn dumpling and siew mai!

Tried out their new custard bun.. It was just average. Wonder what's the craze over custard bun cos it's just average..

I LOVE/AM IN LOVE with this chicken mushroom steamed rice since forever :) Yum!

Went to JB with him to have our all-time favourite abalone noodle and our ai-yu jelly drink! Yummy!
After that we went to pump petrol and had his car washed.

The next morning, we walked around Downtown East and decided to have some Taiwan food for brunch, heh.

Xi Men's curry chicken cutlet rice! Super shiok :)

Well, another occasion was that after a day of school and projects (till 8pm), Dear brought me out to eat Thai food at Nakhon Kitchen , Bedok.
Everyone knows where is it except for me....... :(

He said the tomyam soup was really good.

Yum! Our dishes arrived less than 5 minutes!

Supposedly to be Kangkong but in the end..

Cashew Chicken! It was really good!

This tom yum. Looks normal but it KILLS. Hahah it was so spicy that the first time I drank it, I gulped down 1/3 of my water. But it was really good!

Basil Minced Pork.

After that dinner, we went to the nearby Ikea and did some "married couple" shopping.. Um, at least it did feel like we're married hahahaha. Oh well, he bought some necessities for his room.

And on Monday, went out with Dear and we walked around Bugis after he accompanied me to print my catalogue for my project. He changed his Iphone back to a Transformer logo. Super darn cool! He loves it~

Anyway headed to his house to have dinner cooked by his Mum, and we went to fishing with Fadly and Shahirah at Punggol Marina Club. I kinda was abit upset cos Dear kept on telling me "last one last one" and I was super tired that day and worried about Tuesday's presentation :/

But I wanted him to enjoy so I just said continue with his own game.. Hmm. But anyway he caught a really super big fish!

3kg! - Dear was super excited. Hehe but he looks so skinny here.. Sigh.

A closeup of the fish

The next day was my first presentation! - Sales Presentation!!
Did a few rehearsals.. But still felt nervous cos we didn't know what to say :/

Hehhe tired but waiting for our turn

After presentation, felt abit more confident!!!! Our group! With Najlaa missing :/

My laptop is gone

Wednesday, August 01, 2012

Yeah, the title says it.

I lost my laptop (with me for 2 years) at Tampines 1's new Coffee Bean. The irony is that there is no CCTV at Coffee bean? Wtf! Nothing has been done (apparently) even though the police said that "we have blah blah blah" BUT hello?! You guys didn't even see my fucking laptop case before. I kept on telling them it is ensleeved with a TP logo but they kept on interrupting whatever I had to say so let the fuck be.

Inefficient.

Anyway my boyfriend has finally invaded into my blog, so YES. Hello my baby boy I love youuuuuuu HAHAH. *waves*

Just wondering if I've missed out anything in my life recently.. Feels like something is amiss. Like somebody's leaving but I can't be there. Sigh.. Miss my friends alot though. With so much going on in my life, dealing with trauma (especially my laptop incident, iphone screen breaking for the 10000th time, ex gf drama) I have to really be strong, and for financial matters, save up for rainy days like these. Now I'm so lost because I have just 60cents in my POSB account. Hahhaa miss those days when I was still financially stable while working at BBC.

This post don't have any photos because I haven't been uploading any photos into his friend's laptop, as it's not very nice to do so. :/ Wish they can fucking find my laptop soon! Damn. But my boyfriend was really nice enough to ask me if I needed his best friend's laptop. And his best friend was also nice enough to let me borrow his laptop. :) Feel so grateful during times like these!

Josephine and Brendon's Wedding :)

Wednesday, July 25, 2012

Super overdue post! Sorryyyyy but because I'm so busy with projects these days, I don't even have the time to have time for myself.. Most of the time I also gave my boyfriend :) Hahah

Anyway I've been wanting to blog about Brendon and Josephine's wedding since a while ago.. So here it is!!!
Their pre-wedding lunch was actually on 7th July August, Saturday after their ROM (but we missed their ROM) so we went for the lunch instead :) It was at Blue Ginger Restaurant, along Tanjong Pagar area and near Maxwell foodcourt. Brendon said that the curry beef was to die-for! Hmm..

Anyway their wedding was a beach- themed one, because I guess both of them have been travelling to beach countries etc?
It was really pretty though!

The couple :)

The cupcakes were really pretty!!  However it was kinda hard to bite. :/

I thought that this smoked duck salad was really good.. Yummy!

Can you spot the super pretty turqoise macaroons??

It's vanilla and they taste super good! Really love it :)

Our lunch.. and the friends around :)

Durian Chendol! It's quite yummy.. The durian is rather fleshy and juicy but I guess the one at Dessert Bowl @ Chompchomp wins it still..

A closeup of the durian chendol. Yums!

After our lunch, we took photos together and of course, the bride tried to throw the bouquet around.. They tried to push me towards it but I am TOO YOUNG to get married please. Hahaha.
And I don't think I'll get married that fast 'cos I think I still have some trust issues with my boyfriend..  (Sorry, been hearing too much negative stuffs about guys like cheating etc.)

Us with the couple :) Haha they're best friends!

After that, we proceeded to Andara Hotel nearby to chat and hang out, since there weren't any place for us to hangout at..

The girls~

After that, we went to return Josephine's wedding dress, and went to eat at the nearby Fishhead Steamboat Restaurant nearby. They claimed to be the best, with many newspaper recommendations, but when we ordered and eat it, we felt that it was just alright :/

We went back to the hotel and met up with their friends, and headed to the lobby's lounge to have some wine..

The girls, or rather, the women (anyway I'm the only girl la okay) ~~

Guess it turned out pretty funny when both the groom and bride were a little drunk..
Epic photo of the night!

Don't know what they are doing.. Hahahah

Toast to the happy couple! :)

My boyfriend~ Face red, but he claim to be not drunk(?) Hahha

Our photo together :)

Love it so much!!

The guys chatting and having a really good time~

Around 2am, we ended the night with the groom gulping down the entire wine bottle, and ended up puking in Ken's car -_- Hahaha. It was really funny, but really want to congratulate the couple for tying the knot! Hope both of you will continue to find joy in each other's company as long as you live :)

It's been a Ramen week!

Wednesday, July 18, 2012

It is comforting to know that people still reads my blog.
The almost dead comment box at the side (spammed with advertisements calling me to check out their websites) is quite disheartening hahaha. Makes me feel as if no one reads my blog, except for robots and people who accidentally stumbles onto my blog while searching for the first XI scandal shit. (Yea, if I did mention that my views went up to 140 daily after blogging about First XI)

Life's been going pretty smoothly.. I liked it the way it is now, no more nonsense, emotional shit and all that ra-ra-drama.

He's been coming to my house to stay over at times and it's nice to wake up and see your loved one beside..

Anyway last Friday, Meryl and Queen and I wanted to meetup to help her jailbreak her phone, but we ended up meeting up too late so we just decided to go back to Ken's Pub to drink and chilled :)

Before that, we had our dinner at this Japanese area at Nex (Forgot the name of the restaurant) and since it was pretty late, there weren't anyone in the restaurant.

Ordered Ramen!

The love birds~

Been so long since I last ate ramen! A happy girl is me :)

2nd shot because Meryl thought my cheeks looked fat in the previous photo HAHA

My chicken soup based ramen! Damn yummy hehe :)

Some really spicy ramen that Meryl/Queen ate! Looks really good though, hehe.

Anyway after that we went to Ken's Pub, ate some peanuts (there's something about me and peanuts haha) and they had a drink. Wanted to sing but there're too many people so by the time my monkey came to fetch me, I had to leave w/o singing :(

Hehe, oh well.. Monday I didn't have school so dear and I decided to meet up after his work, which ended at 6pm! After Gina recommended me to go to RamenPlay to try out their double soup base, I told him about it and so we decided to go for it! Was expecting it to be costly but surprisingly it wasn't! It was affordable, and much cheaper than T3's Ramen Champion :)

There're both pros and cons about the ramen they served in Ramen Play, compared to other ramen shops.

Double soup base, with cha shu!

Love the tonkatsu soup though! It's really good! :)

Yuzu yogurt! It's their popular specialty there~

 My baby darling! :)

Heheh yummy! ready to tuck in :)

If you can see he's always on his phone.. :(

Our gyoza, not exactly fantastic.. We preferred the one at Cuppage though!

After that, we walked around Orchard, and went to the new Abercrombie and Fitch! We hadn't been there before so it was our first! The lightings made us really gorgeous looking HAHAHA.

I think dear really liked the shirt! And our 1 year anniversary is around so..... :) Maybe I might get it for him!! And getting him the real cap.. Hehe.

Awesome Monday date! It really made the Monday blues go away :-)

For now, I will go and do some project work and continue my "Revenge" tv episode later! Hehe~

No lies, just love

Wednesday, June 27, 2012

This afternoon I've been a little a moody and sad 'cos I've kinda had some trust issues with him. I always thought that I could trust somebody wholeheartedly but I can't.

After discovering the chats he's had with some girls, I guess? Nevertheless I have chosen to continue "trusting" him. Yes I'm upset, but I don't want this to end. I'm afraid it's just me being too sensitive and blame him for something he didn't have the intention to do, or is it just the way he communicates with people.

But whatever it is.. I just love him a lot.

Anyway on Monday, there was no Apel lesson so I decided to accompany him on an interview in JB. There's a whole new land development going on at Puteri Harbour, and the investor that we met that day said that by a few years time, there will be a ferry fetching Singaporeans from Harbourfront and Sentosa to Puteri Harbour soon!

And the area looked beautiful. Nothing like the traffic in typical JB areas you see. They had a row of houses (seriously looked like Australia) and they have service staffs greeting you at the reception counter, they have a western cafe and Angsana Spa! Wtf this is more like a resort than a house.

So yeah.. Dear and I were like wow! And many Singaporeans actually lived in that area, while working in SG at the same time.

Anyway, after the meeting, dear and I went to Bukit Indah Jusco, (the one Gina and Ym and I went that time) and we went to eat dinner at Johnny's Restaurant. It is absolutely one of the best Thai restaurant I've been to, and my boyfriend, who's a head chef with 10 years of experience agreed with me.

They have no MSG, preservative so it's totally healthy! And it's halal too :)
There's an outlet in Ipoh Jusco, and I've been eating at Johnny's since I was 8 years old? My aunt would always drive us to Jusco for some healthy delicious steamboat :')

So I've been asking my boyfriend to bring me to this restaurant for quite sometime cos I haven't been back in Ipoh for almost 2 years?

Finally that day we got the chance to go :') He didn't forget that he made the promise to go with me.. and I'm really proud of him for making to effort to remember. And it was his treat! Hehe!

Ordered this Thai Steamboat set, it's mad cheap! About $12 for two people? includes prawns, veggies, bee hoon, sotong, tofu, eggs, fish glue, enoki mushrooms and so on and so forth.

Nobody! My boyfriend's favourite ^^

I really liked the ambience and service there. Never fails to disappoint me everytime. The staffs are fast and efficient, and the ambience is warm and cosy! Best for steamboat ^^

Here it is! Our healthy steamboat. Dear scooping the coconut out from his drink.

Seeking comfort and happiness in food

When he first tried the Thai chicken rice, he went, "OMG" and licked his fingers. It was one of the best chicken rice he's ever had :) hahaha. I remembered how my brother and I used to fight over this plate of chicken rice whenever we were in Ipoh. It's SUPER good!

Our awesomely healthy steamboat!

And the best Thai Chicken rice! RM 5.95

Can't wait to indulge in the steamboat!

Anyway, I'm loving my new rose blouse! I bought it with Xinyi and it's so pretty!!!! Hehe ^^
Bought it at a bargain cos I'm just good at bartering HAHAHA. Whee!

Us being really happy and enjoying our steamboat.
We ordered side orders: A super duper awesome plate of 5 beef slices (RM 4.50), Jelly fish (RM 3.50), 2 plates of Shrimp Ravioli (RM4.90 each), Deep Sea Fish Balls (Rm 5.90)!

We were so full we could hardly breathe :S

Yes, super full!!!!

And a satisfied boy :)

Everything totaled up to RM76.30, including service charge and gvt tax. We really enjoyed the meal!!! :)

After that, we went to buy durian puffs for my parents and his mummy!

Went to my house and stayed over :)

My parents loved the durian puffs so much that they ate finish within an hour?! I only got to eat 1 :(

Oh well..........
I love happy times like this.
